Wyoming Moonlight Madness
State Bank of Speer proudly participated in the annual Wyoming Moonlight Madness. The local businesses stayed open late and many specials were found. This Wyoming Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored event is a fun-filled evening with many activities, horse drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa, and concludes with a lighted parade. A highlight of this years event was a storytelling session with history from the Stark County area and the Civil War.
The Speer Bank Community Center at 200 E Williams Street was open with refreshments, visits with Santa and Mrs Claus, and carraige rides. It was a beautiful evening and we had a record number of children visit Santa and Mrs Claus this year.
State Bank of Speer sponsored a lighted parade entry this year from the East Peoria Festival of Lights. This was a wonderful addition to the Wyoming Annual Lighted Parade. We thank the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce and the East Peoria Festival of Lights for their generosity.
